Massage Therapy is a manipulation of muscle tissue in order to increase circulation, promote full body relaxation and loosen and release muscle tension. Almost everybody can benefit from massage, whether addressing specific injuries, increasing athletic performance, or seeking general relaxation. An effective massage can be performed with varying depth, depending on the client's needs and preferences. Hot stones and Aromatic essential oils can be incorporated into a massage session upon the client's request.
Aromatherapy further enhances the body's relaxation. Think of the smell of a spring rain, or the delicate whiff of a flower blossom. Aromas like lavender, Chamomile and Ylang Ylang al also have differ net medicinal properties that are easily absorbed into the skin and can aid in the body's healing.
Hot Stones can be used as a deep tissue massage tool, to trace acupressure meridians, or as a thermal treatment in conjunction with traditional massage. Grounding stones help quiet the busy mind and bring the body into it's core awareness.
Foot and Hand Reflexology is a Chinese form of acupressure based on a system of nerve endings on the hands and feet that correspond to points on the entire body. For example, massaging the toes helps release neck and head tension. Massaging the ball of the foot opens up the chest cavity and encourages deep relaxation. Foot reflexology can be used as a diagnostic tool and to facilitate the body's healing. Our feet bear the weight of our entire body and should be treated with the respect and pampering that they deserve. Foot Reflexology is a must for foot lovers seeking deep relaxation, addressing chronic foot soreness, and as an alternative to full body massage.
